So far, my board is fine, but there is certainly some significant heat being generated. Can't see his website any longer. Don't know why I did it at the time, but I mounted the bleeders on top and boy did they burn the board. I highly recommend going this route! There's a couple of areas that on the board that show some significant heat around the power resistors. I have used this solely with the HX-1681X transmitter (CW) and was a fine performer for Novice Rig Roundup. Other than losing my bias supply (very bad for finals) all is well!
